March 30, 2011 Photographs of two students having sex on top of a campus building have set off a major controversy at the University of Southern California.
It apparently happened atop USC's 12-story-tall Waite Phillips Hall over the weekend.

An unidentified man and woman, believed to be USC students, appear at the top of the 12-storey Waite Phillips Hall.
One member who allegedly had sex on the roof of a campus building, an incident that was photographed.
The couple quickly engage in what appears to be sexual relations.
The couple appear to pick out a spot nearest the roof's edge, in plain view of those below.
The male has been identified as a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. The woman was reported to be with a sorority that was hosting a philanthropic event there Saturday afternoon.

Ovviamente la scelta di partecipare è facoltativa, nonostante siano migliaia i fedeli che ogni anni vi partecipano convinti del fatto che tutti gli uomini nudi sono uguali, e poco importa, quindi, se il prete in determinate occasioni si mostra nudo.
“Io non credo che a Dio interessa quello che indossi. L’importante è pregare” afferma Richard Foley, un membro della congregazione.
Per la comunità di Whitetail, il nudo integrale e la religione sono strettamente collegati.
"In alcuni dei momenti più importanti della sua vita Gesù era nudo.
Quando è stato crocifisso era nudo e quando è risorto, lasciando i suoi vestiti, nella tomba era nudo.
Se Dio ci ha fatto così, cosa può esserci di sbagliato?" spiega il pastore Parker, sottolineando che senza vestiti non esiste distinzione sociale, non è infatti possibile distinguere il milionario dall’idraulico, ognuno si mostra per quello che veramente è, ed è forse proprio per questo che aumentano sempre di più i fedeli che partecipano a queste celebrazioni.

Nel Wisconsin potrebbe diventare legge una norma che vieta di riprendere uomini e donne nudi senza consenso.
Una legge liberticida che viene giustificata come necessità di "arginare internet", è all'attenzione del governatore dello Stato del Wisconsin, Scott McMallun.

Il provvedimento mette fuori legge ogni ripresa video e qualsiasi fotografia venga scattata a persone nude senza che queste diano il loro consenso.

Una norma che mira a impedire che attraverso internet una violazione dell'intimità e della privacy possa trasformarsi in un problema per chi viene ripreso senza volerlo (e allora se ne stia vestito).
La legge, appoggiata tanto dai Democrats che dai Republicans, mira a imporre sanzioni pesanti contro - parole dei senatori del Wisconsin - "i depravati che si divertono videoregistrando vittime innocenti nei loro momenti privati".

"Oggi chi compie questi abusi - dicono i maggiori 'sponsor' del provvedimento - può far danni inviando quelle immagini di nudo su internet.

Dobbiamo anticipare questi pervertiti dell'alta tecnologia".

L'obiettivo della norma è superare quei pregiudizi di incostituzionalità per i quali la Corte Suprema del Wisconsin aveva bocciato in passato un provvedimento molto simile.

Quel che colpisce è che nello stato già esiste una legge contro la videoregistrazione.

"La nuova norma - spiega il senatore che ha presentato il progetto - migliora la legge attuale assicurandosi che i voyeur che producono immagini siano ritenuti responsabili al pari di coloro che le riproducono.

E rende il tutto un reato penale, così che risulti maggiormente difendibile da ogni appello al Primo Emendamento che cerchi di farla considerare incostituzionale".

Non è chiaro però come verrebbero considerati quegli utenti internet che si trovassero a inoltrare ad amici o conoscenti foto di sconosciuti recuperate dai newsgroup, senza avere alcun indizio sull'origine legale o meno delle immagini.

Coppia prende il sole nuda al cimitero

Se ne stavano tranquillamente sdraiati al sole, nudi, tra tombe e lapidi.
A scovarli è stato un agente di un servizio veterinario della contea di Columbia.
"Ero sconvolto. Mi aspettavo di trovare un cane, e invece...", racconta Russell Swann.
A chiedere il suo intervento, era stato il personale della chiesa battista di Solid Rock: "Qualcuno ha abbandonato un cane nella nostra proprietà".
Ma, una volta arrivato sul posto, subito dopo aver voltato l'angolo della chiesa, Russell s'è trovato davanti ad un uomo ed una donna nudi.
Insieme a loro c'era pure il cane.
"Non appena mi hanno visto - racconta - si sono rivestiti in tutta fretta".

Avvisata la polizia, gli agenti hanno ammonito la coppia di persone, invitandola a non ripetere quell'esperienza, né al cimitero e in un altro luogo pubblico.
"Faccio questo lavoro da tre anni - ammette Russell - ma una cosa del genere non mi era mai capitata".

Il sipario a Times Square è calato con l'arrivo degli agenti, che hanno bloccato il nudista.
"Hai un documento di identità con te?" gli ha chiesto un poliziotto.
Il commediografo si è fatto condurre senza obiezioni dagli agenti al Bellevue Hospital, per un controllo medico.

3 women arrested for dancing nude
 Three women, including an 18-year-old, were arrested for baring all or almost all at a Dothan nightclub that features bikini dancing.
"They were naked, but they had shoes on I believe," said police Capt. Larry Draughon.
The three, who may have been customers at the Stardust Lounge, ended up spending part of the night in jail on misdemeanor charges of indecent exposure.
Arrested about 1:30 a.m. Monday, they were released on $500 bail.
Authorities said two of the women claimed to work at the club, but Jeff Baxter, a member of the corporation that owns the Stardust Lounge, denied that any of the women worked there.
He said it was his employees who called police to report the incident.
"This is a case of girls gone way too wild," he told The Dothan Eagle in a story Thursday.
The Stardust is a bikini bar and its dancers are required to be in compliance with a local ordinance barring nude dancing.
Other laws bar public nudity and lewdness where alcohol is served.
The three charged with misdemeanor indecent exposure were Tonia Schiefer, 27, of Dothan, Kimberly Rena Summers, 21, of Midland City, and Kayla Nicole Stafford, 18, of Westville, Fla.
Lt. Jean Turner, the agent in charge of the Dothan office of the Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board, said Stafford and Summers danced completely nude while Schiefer was only topless.
All three women were released from the Dothan City Jail after posting $500 bail.
Attempts to find phone numbers to reach the three for comment were not immediately successful Thursday.
ABC Board agents gave Baxter a citation Wednesday and could seek suspension or revocation of the lounge's license.

The Texas legislature tried to ban summer camps for nudist youths based on nothing more than a single throw-away line in one New York Times article suggesting that someone, somewhere, might be thinking about starting one there someday.
Louisiana wanted to ban baggy pants that might expose the wearer’s underwear (or worse!) because, as State Representative Derrick Shepherd proclaimed, “If parents can’t regulate what their children wear, then there should be a law.”
And, more recently, two children were charged with being child pornographers because they willingly took naked pictures of themselves and shared them with each other.
It’s sheer madness out there!

Naked shoppers make moon shine in Chevron
No shirt. No pants. No problem.
At least not for two men at Chevron on 64th St. and Greenway.
The cashier on duty said the two popped their heads in the door and asked to come in.
Theresa Dockstader-Carter said yes without thinking a thing of it.
At least until she realized they came to buy food in the nude.
She says she just grinned while they bared it all at 3:09 a.m. Saturday.
Without pockets, they advertisement had cash in hand to buy skittles, tea and a donut.
The cashier says it just seemed like a prank.
“They were very polite.” Dockstader-Carter says they didn’t appear to be drunk, just trying to have some fun.
“They said they lost their clothes, and I said I'm sorry to hear that, hopefully you'll find them.”
The manager, Samantha Cooley, says neither of them felt the need to call the police.
She laughs as she says, “One you'd wanna see and one, oh you know, could use a couple days at the gym.”
Looking at the surveillance video, the stunt appeared to be harmless.

Le nuove norme pare siano durissime e prevedano fino a tre mesi di carcere e una multa di 500 dollari per chi allunga troppo gli occhi sotto le minigonne delle signore o negli appartamenti altrui.
Il tutto in difesa della privacy essendoci anche, tra l’altro, tanto di Garante che dovrebbe occuparsi della stessa.

Increased vitamin D levels during youth, from the sun and the diet, may reduce the risk of breast cancer later in life by over 30 per cent, suggests a new epidemiological study.
The study, by researchers from the Samuel Lunenfeld Research Institute at the Mount Sinai Hospital in Canada, adds to a rapidly growing body of science reporting potential benefits of the vitamin against cancer that has led for strong calls to increase recommended intake levels.
The researchers recruited 972 women with newly diagnose invasive breast cancer and 1,135 randomly selected healthy controls and interviewed to assess vitamin D-related variables, such as sunlight exposure (outdoor activity), cod liver oil intake and milk consumption.
After adjusting for potential confounding factors, Knight and her co-workers found that increased exposure to sunlight during adolescence was associated with the highest protection against breast cancer risk later in life, with a risk reduction 35 per cent.
Significant risk reductions were also observed for increased cod liver oil intake (24 per cent risk reduction), and drinking at least 10 glasses of milk per week was associated with a 38 per cent risk reduction.
